Business day vs working day: is there a difference?

In practice, 'business day' and 'working day' mean the same thing: any day that is not a weekend or public holiday. Both terms refer to Monday–Friday in most countries, or Monday–Thursday in countries with Friday–Saturday weekends. Some industries use 'working day' to include partial workdays (like half-day Fridays), but for calculation purposes they are treated identically.
